Consulate Review: Togo
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : September 28, 2017
Embassy Review : My fiance reported a great experience at the U.S embassy in Togo. He received a call from a representative to pick up packet 3, which had an interview date for a week later.
The day of the interview, he explained that everything went smoothly and fast. The consulate reviewed his documents upon on his arrival. A few minutes later, a middle age man came to the window and ask him a few questions: when did you first meet your fiancé? How many time has your fiancée visited you? Does your fiancée has children? Do you have children? What does your fiancée do for living?
And, he was approved for the K1 visa.
Rating : Good

Hi! It's been a while but I just you on the AOS timelines for NYC and I was wondering how you got approved so fast? Is there something like expedition for AOS too? I'm going to be in Queens by the middle of this year. I'm expecting about a 1.5 year wait for the GC.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
