Comments : On the interview they didnt ask me anything about our relationship. The officer just double checked our names, dates of birth and things like that. And then she asked me all the crazy questions that were in one of the forms like if i had ever committed any crime and so on.... a bunch of question but very easy.

Member Reviews:

Consulate Review: Bogota, Colombia
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : February 9, 2017
Embassy Review : For k1 visas they let people in no matter what time your appointment is so Id suggest to go there as early as you can. Once there they check your documents and then you have to wait to be interviewed. Here are the questions they asked me
Who is petitioning you?
Where does he live?
How long has he been living there?
What does he do for a living?
How did you meet?
How did he propose to you?
Did you pick a wedding dress yet?
How do you communicate?

There were some extra questions because I was an au pair before. So she asked me how long the program was, the name of the family I stayed with and if I went back to the US after the program

Everything went smoothly. Good luck!
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
