Event Description

Embassy Review : The interview was very smooth and easy, just remember to collect all the documents they requested in the letter. Also the list of prohibited items in the Embassy is extensive. No cell phones, car keys with any type of electronics (House keys are allowed), backpacks or purses, etc.

As a side note, you can bring your USA Citizen fiance/Husband without any prior appointment or contact, just have him/her show his/her passport.

We arrived for our 8:00AM appointment at about 7:30 and were let in around 7:45. We were sent to a room to submit supporting documents and fingerprints, and then waited for the interview. After about 10 minutes we were called to the window with a very nice man who asked a few simple questions about our relationship (How we met, how many times I visited my wife, how long we have been together, where I was from (US Citizen)).

After that he said our documents were all sorted out and our visa was approved!
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
