Comments : POE was JFK.
Unfortunately the visa line is the same line as first time ESTA, so I had to wait in line for about an hour. Activating the visa only took about 10-15 mins though. They weren't exactly friendly but not grump either. I guess it was just another 'immigrant' for them. Can't complain.

Consulate Review: Frankfurt, Germany
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : September 29, 2015
Embassy Review : My interview appointment was scheduled for 07.45 and I got there a little after 7 am. After 45 minutes I had already given them my passport and a consulate employee explained the whole visa again, checked that my name, DOB, etc was still right and took my fingerprints.
I had to wait for exactly 1 hour till I finally had the interview.
The lady asked me 4 questions after I had to swear that I'll tell the truth:
How did you meet?
Is he still in the army?
What is his job?
How did he propose?
Then she told me: your visa got approved
Everyone was really nice and helpful!

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
