Comments : 6-1-2006 USCIS sent our 129F from NSC to CSC.

7-3-2006 IMBRA RFE received.

8-25-2006 > 9-8-2006 Kept calling NVC (automated line) to see if our case was received.

9-8-2006 We received a reply to an email I sent to the NVC on 9-1-2006. The reply said that "The NVC has processed the visa petition and forwarded it to the US Embassy on August 31, 2006." No notification at all so I had to guess on NVC received date.

10-11-2006 Went to Fiancee and son went to medical exam, and I went to Embassy in Bucharest to drop off packet 3 checklist so that I could get an appointment as soon as possible. They would not let me drop off the checklist in person, so I called the Embassy (while standing outside of it :), and they said that I did not need to drop off the paper, that I can make an appoint over the phone "right now". We of course took the earliest available date (exactly one week to the day).

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
