Consulate Review: Mumbai, India
Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : June 2, 2015
Embassy Review : Interview scheduled at 7:30 am. I arrived at 7:00 am. took us in at 7:05. First stop security check. then cued up to get token no. after few minutes called to first counters where they explained and arranged out documents in order and given us leaflet about rights against domestic violence to read while we wait for our formal interview. then after about an hour called for interview and it was so simple and straight forward. Asked following simple and basic question:
1. Who is calling you to US?
2. How did you guys meet?
3. When did you get married?
4. Who came from US for wedding?
5. What did you study when in Australia? (I was in aus for 4yrs for study)
6. Did you understand leaflet explaining rights against domestic violence?
7. What does she do currently in US?
And that's it, after that he said your visa is approved and have a good day!

simple Easy and straight forward. nothing to worry about.

Thank you visa journey..!
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
