Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : May 21, 2015
Embassy Review : My fiancee interview was 7am on May 14,2015.Prior to the date we had collected likeable interview question from here(visajourney) and google.I followed every single outlined and template from the start and i must tell you, this site was very helpful and directive in the cause of my fiancee coming to America.Back to the interview review on the 13 of may 2015 she had to go to lagos to stayed in one hotel in surulere not too expensive about 7k a night. she paid for two night because we were not sure what time her interview will be over and her other properties would be more safe there.I already told her to get atlease 3cab phone number so she can call to drop her at the embassy because her interview time was 7am.We had planned that she will need to leave her hotel room around 4.45am so she can beat the traffic afterall it better early than coming late.So around 7.30pm my time which is 3.30am Nigeria time i called her to wake her up but her two lines were already switched off so i just wished and prayed for the best.Every hour there after i kept calling to see how it well still all lines were switched off.I became a bit worried and restless but thank God for some good naija praise songs i had that streaming to keep my nerves down and hold on to God words that he makes everything beautiful and splendid and is words are yea and amen. Now the time is about 3.30am my time the negative thought tried setting in but kept on believing God for where my help cometh from. Then by 4.30am my time she ping me and said God is faithful i was approved.I took my phone and called her immediately firstly, I said a big thank you to my father Jesus. Then ask her how it went and what questions were asked. She said she was ask what your fiance name, his occupation, his position at his job. Also asked if she be able to travel before August 13.Lastly some pictures and who for her to identify the people in it.She said the lady told her your fiance gave you all is financial document, and well arrange file also. The C.O remarked finally saying this must be true love and my girl smiled and said yes.Thank my visajourney forum members you guys were the major driver of our success.Lastly my advice to other is after all preparation before the interview both of you should fast and pray for success. If God hands is in it nobody can stop you not even the CO.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
