Comments : My Fiance told me he went in the embassy early morning and the place was packed with people a lot was going on there .He told me he was called up right around his appointment time and they took all the documents he had with him .The folder I sent sent him was neatly organized and we tried our best to put in as much information about our case as possible which I believe helped a lot and prevented rescheduling of our interview etc.So when the officer came back to him they had an interpreter there for him and he told me he went in and the officer asked him some questions about me the (petitioner) so when he told the interpreter which I guess wasn't all that fluent in English neither so he said what my fiance told him wrongly and my fiance said something to the interpreter because he sensed he said something wrong and the officer got upset and told my fiance if he didn't give the right answer that he won't issue him the visa .My fiance told the interpreter to apologize to the officer on his behalf which he did and the officer again asked the same question and a few more questions than finally he told him "Congratulations" I have approved your visa. That was the best words my fiance has heard in a while .He called me early morning and I immediately praised God because if it wasn't for God nothing would be possible. The Ethiopian embassy is a really good embassy they got back to me every time I emailed them and they were nice to my fiance .

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
