Event Description

Embassy Review : so i arrived infront of the embassy at 6:20 AM the security made us stand on the side walk towards the embassy waiting for it to be 7AM so he can start forming the lines, so i would suggest getting there at 7 if ur interview is 7:30 AM. so after that he started asking ppl to form two lines non immigration and immigration, then a nother security guy came and starting checking on everyone is papaers to let them in he requierd ( 1- interview letter, 2- Aramex paper ( by the way u can do that online through the website " http://www.ustraveldocs.com/eg", 3- 2 passport photos 5*5 cm, and last but not least 4- your passport). Then you get inside through security after they check your bag if you have one, you take your stuff down stairs to a whole new section of the embassy that you never been before, and i mean by that they only allow people who is getting interview there, so u meet another guy who give you a number and asks you to wait till one of the windows call your number so you better get yours stuff ready cause some egyptian staff people there are really rude, once your done with that they gonna ask you for this:
1- interview letter
2- 2 passport photos
3- your passport
4- your original Arabic marriage certificate
5- your military certificate
6- try to have a photo copy of all the above
7- and ofcourse your 2014 taxes

then you she tell you go have a seat sit down somewhere till they call your number, i waited for at least 45 minutes till i heard my number being called to another window. The CO was ~28 years old american woman, she greeted me and said hi karim then she started asking me:
1- Is your wife living with you currently
2- where did you meet your wife
3- what is your wife current address
4- what was her previous address
5- have you been outside the country
6- how your relationship developed
7- did you propose when and where
then she smiled at me and said congratulations you should receive your passport in tow weeks have a nice day and then she returned all my original documents.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
