Consulate Review: Lebanon
Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : January 5, 2015
Embassy Review : My appointment was at 09:30 i was there at 08:45 i got in, security check for everything i was carrying. i walked to a room where all applicants are sitting, i waited around 2 hours then local man called my number and asked for my documents, then told me to sit again and when i hear my name i go to interview room, another 2 hours passed for my interview, i walk in the interview room the officer was American very nice lady, she asked how did i met my wife, when we got married, when did we started to talk, when did we meet for first time, if i was married before, if she was married before and about kids, whats her job, whats my religion and what's her religion. i showed her our photos while answering about when did we meet and where. the officer said i am gonna approve your visa and come pick it after 1 week.

it was really easy and i was stressed and worried before the interview but once i walked in the embassy i saw everyone was nice and friendly.

Hey, how long did it take for your DS-5535 to be over

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
