Embassy Review : Hi all, my husband had interview today at 7.30 am. He reached there at 6.30 am. He was told to be in queue at 7.00 am. Security check was completed. Then he was told to stay in queue in immigrant applicants queue. He got token number. He waited for 15 minutes. Then an Indian lady called him and asked few general questions and gave back the original documents that were sent to NVC. Facilitator asked him to give her:

Appointment letter
DS260 with stamp of fingerprinting confirmation at VAC
Passport
2 photos (2x2 size)
Birth certificate
PCC
Medical report
Tax Transcript

Then she gave him domestic violence pamphlet to read. Then after 5 minutes his turn came for interview. First he had to take oath then they started interview.
1. What's your wife's job
2. Who does she stay with
3. What do you do
4. Where will you stay when you reach USA

That's it. Then she asked whether he understood pamphlet. Then she said "your visa application is approved".
Interview was very good, it was quick, he was out of there by 8.30 am. Good luck to all of you and I sincerely thank Visa Journey, without which this process would have been an absolute night mare!javascript:emoticon('')

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
