Event Description
Review Date : December 9, 2005
Embassy Review : My interveiw was last Nov 30th,i arrived at the consulate 5 mins before 9am and my appointment time was 9am,when i got there i joined the line with other people applying for non immigrant visas..After checking my appointment letter they allow me to enter and x-ray my bag, passed to a detector. And mind you consulate doors are very heavy for me,like i cant pull(lol).anyways,i got in the room there are a lot of people and i finally got my queue number, and i was standing bec there is not enough chairs, luckily i waited for less than 5 mins and my number called.the american lady is pleasant but not friendly at all,she collected one by one my papers and she was looking for my police certificate from philippined which i dont have, and she instructed me to come back at 2pm for the final interview....at 1.50 i arrived at the embassy and had my clearance and went in,i was surprised bec only 2 people are there, the chinese lady and me..so i waited and the window counter opened and the same lady called me,right after that she called the CO and told him im ready. So he asked me to raise my right, swear and signed the form.and he go through with all my documents at the same time asked me questions, which are all basic questions and that it..total interview time was less than 5 mins.after all interview is painless...paper works are more stressful than the interview..i collected my visa today and hope to fly next year....
Rating : Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
