Embassy Review : Got there at 6ish. there was already 4 people in front of us. k1 go to the residence line not the tourist line. went in at 8 my fiance got to go in with no problem but i had to wait for the security guard to write my passport on a clipboard. after that they sent us into a security room where they check you. after that you go out and go up the stairs and into the embassy. (one thing try to push the know down on the entrance door many people were stuck outside till the security guard came to open it can be a little confusing to open it) once you go in the first thing you see is a bunch of chairs in rows and on the sides are all the windows around the whole room. you wait for like 15 minutes or so and a guy comes out to explain how the procedure will be and how to put your fingers for the biometrics. they start by calling the tourist visa firsts. THe time to see the person at the window vary depending on how much the peopl in front of you take. once we got called the lady ask for all our info be organized about it because they ladies there can be a bit inpatient.after that they sat us down and told us to wait to be called again after about 30 minutes we were called to the interview( one thing everything you talk their is public so all the people waiting can hear what they are asking you) Anyways the CO was very very nice i have no complaint he swore us in and started to ask where we met? how long do i stay when i come to guatemala? what media of communication do we use when im not in guatemala? what are our wedding plans? where was Petitioner born? has he met my parents? have i met his? why are we not getting maried in guatemala? and after that he told my fiance he was going to get is biometrics after that he said okay you can sit down and wait for the bometrics results that was when it go hard we waited and waited literaly we were there till the almost closing time waiting for the biometrics. THe CO was very vey helpful to us he kept on checking and told us he was sorry about the fact that the system was not veryfing he also told us that byt just looking at the papers it was approved just neede that check saying he was cleared. So he told us he was very sorry and that hed call us back tommorow bc the bimoterics were not complete. We gave im a reliable number. and left the embassy the next day arounf 11ish am they called us back and tols us the CO had tellin someone to call us and tell us our visa was approved :D she told us to come back on monday and pick up our visa personally. I was very excited over all it was stressing but i have no complaints the CO was an awesome person and very helpful
Rating : Very Good
