Embassy Review : Preparation is the key. Have everything ready to go at least one week prior to your interview. Do not let life get in the way. That being said... I must admit that I had misplaced the appointment form and was looking for it the night before. I though I had found it and it turned out to be the biometrics appt form. That form said our appt was for 11 am so that tme stuck in my head. Later when I found the correct appointment notice I failed to check the time and 11 am was stuck in my head. The actual appointment time was for 8 am!!! We were 3 hours late!!! Well, I decided than rather than call and reschedule or be told that we had abandoned the process that it would be better to show up. The two guards at security did not check the form closely or even look at it. Wed approached window #8 as instructed and the clerk there did not even glanced at it but simply put it on a pile and told us to wait for our names to be called. half an hour later we were called. The questions were straightforward and the officer was pleasant, cordial and professional. Green Card approved!!!javascript:emoticon('')
Harassment Level : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
