Comments : POE Atlanta is super easy. When you get to the immigration area keep waling to the end of it. You'll pass Citizens/ residents and tourist lines and get to the TRIPOD area. Give the officer your sealed envelope and passport. It takes about 10 minutes. A couple of questions and welcome to America!
As the k1 is a 1 entry visa they wrote "canceled without prejudice"on my visa.

Consulate Review: Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : April 5, 2012
Embassy Review : My fiancé and I arrived at the consulate at 6am and went to the immigrant visa line, by 7:15am a guy came and gave us a form with a number, we went in ( no cell phones or any electronic devices allowed), went to the second flor and a guy gave us another form to write our contact info (where we live in Brazil and where we're staying in Rio), then he checked everyone's documents individually and we waited to the pre-interview, where they check our documents again and make a couple of questions if needed, just to see if we filled out everything correctly on the forms. We get fingerprinted and go downstairs to pay for our passport to be mailed (I paid R$65). Then we went back upstairs and waited about 20-30 minutes and were called to the actual interview with the consular officer. It was pretty easy. She was very friendly. She asked how we met, when we met, I answered YES to two of those last questions on DS 156 form and she asked me about it ( I- beneficiary- was arrested trying to get into a bar in New Jersey 9 years ago when I was an au pair and overstayed my visa for 75 days). She said they don't even consider it an arrest because it is so minor and my overstay was ok because it was less than 180 days) and she appreciated my honesty, she asked where we are going to live and said she didn't have anymore questions and approved our visa. Then she ask me to get fingerprinted and that was it! Approved! Everyone at the consulate is friendly.
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
