My husband's experience was very easy and simple. His flight arrived at 6:30p and he was welcomed by my family at 7:05p, 35 min later! He said the officer was very kind. The officer opened his package, asked why he was coming here (he said his wife lives here), explained the documents to him (his passport stamp serves as his temp gc), and said welcome to America!
