"Good forums to everyone. After a long wait, we finally completed the interview and received visa approval. Exactly 1 year and 3 months later, I set aside questions like 'How will things go? What documents are needed for the next stage? What if we get rejected?' and believe me, there's nothing like the peace of mind. We've aged a year in just one year. Regarding the interview day, our interview was on the same day and at the same time as @Payakan. We experienced everything exactly the same way, but I'll still write, as I've come this far with the experiences of other people. First, let me talk about transportation. I came from Adana with the 00:30 bus and was at A?ti around 6:10. My interview was at 08:15. It takes about 30 minutes to walk from A?ti to the consulate. There's a black car next to the consulate where you can leave your belongings (it's a bit suspicious because it's black and a car, but you can trust it, the simit seller on the corner said so ?). Interviews are announced starting from 7:45 and after. My biggest advice is to get in line early. Because while waiting with @Payakan, we forgot we were still in Turkey and said, 'Let's go in when our time comes, let's not disrupt the order,' and we could only enter around 09:00 ? They only accept your wallet and documents at the entrance, they don't take bags and other items. I don't need to tell you that everything electronic is forbidden anyway ? They also allow earrings and necklaces. After passing through security, you walk inside and enter the second building. They register you, give you a queue number, and start following the screens. When your turn comes, you go to the relevant counter, specify the language of the interview, and provide the personal documents required (criminal record, population registration sample, discharge certificate, passport, marriage certificate, and biometric photo) and the relationship proofs you want the consul to see. Then you wait for the interview with the consul. The consul was very polite and funny; he really liked my Blink 182 T-shirt and teased me, 'Did you wear it just for me?' even though I wore it because I like oversized clothes ?. First, you take an oath, then they take your fingerprints. Then they ask questions about your relationship. For example, how we met, where my spouse is living now, how many people attended our wedding, when we got married, and who our sponsors are. You can conduct the interview in Turkish. If you get stuck, the translator lady next to the consul immediately comes into play. After glancing at the relationship proofs and making comments about the photos, he said, 'Okay, passport in a week at PTT,' and left ?. That's how I experienced it. We went through this adventure smoothly. My file is currently in AP, but this is quite normal. If yours has been in AP for 2 or 3 days, don't worry; it will be updated to Issued soon ?. I won't be able to tag everyone because I've received help from so many people since the beginning of this journey, but I'm grateful to each and every one of them. I hope everyone is reunited with their spouse as soon as possible and smoothly. Stay healthy ?."
