Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa

The interview was scheduled for 8:30 am, June 3, but they began pre-processing immediately when she arrived at 7:45. She only had to wait about 30 minutes before she was brought before the consul. His questions:

When did you meet your husband?
When did your husband last come for a visit?
What language does your husband speak?
Do you speak english?

It was here that he switched to english and asked her several more questions:

Where did you learn to speak english?
Have you visited the US before? On what type of visa? How long were you in the US?
Last time you spoke with your husband?

After the questions he stated that she was approved for the visa, pending receipt of documents from doctors. He told her the instructions for applying for a green card. Told her once the medical documents were received, the visa would be processed and sent via DHL. Over all, everyone at the consulate were very friendly.
