Review Topic: K1 Visa

Interview was basically smooth, took less than 5 minutes.

Consul did not ask for anything about me, she basically went straight to how we met, what was my fiancee career, where she works, for how long and what was her previous job.
After that they asked if there were any previous marriages and where does my fiancee lives.
that was basically all!

No financial support questions or any other proof of relationship requested.

Review Topic: K1 Visa

My fiance attended the interview by himself. He arrived at 6:00AM (interview was at 7:00AM) and got in the line at 6:30AM. He said there was only him and someone else for the K1 visa. He was out before 8:00AM.

Questions asked to my fiance (Not in this order):
1. Who is petitioning for you?
2. Where does your fiance live?
3. Does your fiance have any siblings? How many? What are their names?
4. What is your fiances phone number?
5. Is your fiance currently working?
6. Do you have a child? What’s his name?

When my fiance was asked if I’m currently working he had answered no since I was unemployed due to that at that time we just had a baby. The officer told him to give him a second, he got up and went to speak with another officer and then came back. That’s when my fiance told him that he brought the I-134 for our co-sponsor, but the officer said he didn’t need it. He then continued to ask him questions. After, the questions the officer told him congratulations your visa is approved and handed him a paper.
