Review Topic: Adjustment of Status

In and out in 10 minutes, no decision on the spot but got an approval update after few hours. That lady officer was 10/10 strict, she talks a little rude. 5 stars rating for the very fast case update though!

Review Topic: Adjustment of Status

My wife came to the US on a K-1 visa 10 months ago and we were married soon after her arrival, and started the adjustment of status process, submitting it 9 months ago. The interview was at 9:25am this morning. We arrived at 8:55am at office at 630 Sansome St, and quickly got into the building through the "Visitors" line and through security. Some people were required to take off their shoes to go through the metal detector but we didn't have to. They asked if we had sharp objects in our backpack -- we only had the paperwork, and there was no problem. They let us take our cell phones with us, so we didn't have any trouble with that. We took the elevator to the 2nd floor.
We checked in, and just had to show the appointment letter and our IDs. Then we waited for a while until interview time. The waiting area was nice; I expected it to be like the DMV but was pleasantly surprised.
At the start we had to sign a "waiver" to do the interview without our attorney present (w... read complete review

Review Topic: Lifting Conditions

Interview time was scheduled for 10.40am.
Me and my husband arrived at the office at 10.10am and was directed to wait in the waiting room.

The IO was a lady and she called for us and we went into her office together. She asked us to stand so we could all swear our information was true.
She asked us about our future plans for having children or why we haven't had kids yet, she knew that me and my husband recently took a trip overseas and asked us the reason for traveling and wanted to see some pictures from the trip.
After picking out a couple of pictures she asked for some additional documentation on finance we were missing and said that was all, and that she would approve us that night.

Overall a very simple and pleasant experience at this office.

Review Topic: Adjustment of Status

We just finish the interview without any decision on the spot on July 6th, 2016. IO said she needs supervisor approval first. The IO is an African American lady who didn't look too friendly at first and didn't smile at all. My buddy I brought along as an interpreter for my wife got scold by her twice for not following her direction and was threaten to get kick out if he still doesn't follow her direct order. She ask me to hand over all the supporting documents that I have and place it in front of her and all our ID's and passport including my naturalization certificate.

The interview itself is straight forward, Most of the questions she asked my wife is off of I-485 like the yes/no questions, and her name, names she used before, her mom and dad's first name and her last entry into the US. She also asked her for her age, what she do for a living back home, and who supported her, and was she working part/full time there. Has she ever been to the US, who she lives with now... read complete review
