  1. THANKS everyone so much! It looks like I'll be in y'alls situation and will get a combo. What were the questions at the i751 interview? Similar to the previous one (how we met, etc.)?
  2. Hi! I have an interview for my citizenship this Monday the 31st. My 10-year green card (removal of conditions) has been processing for about 13 months (Texas processing time is like 4 months). For some reason, it's been sent to National Benefits Center in Missouri about a month after I applied for citizenship. I now believe they made some kind of human error. We filed a request because I was outside of processing times, and received a generic response "we're working on it". Now, I have my interview for my citizenship, but I have been told by an officer I can't receive citizenship if I don't remove conditions. So, this interview will likely be a merged ROC/naturalization interview. I called USCIS and they conformed my citizenship file is in San Antonio where I have my interview but they can't tell me where my ROC file is... Can someone please share their stories when ROC was processing at the time of interview? I am not very worried they will reschedule this on the morning of....THANKS!
  3. Hi! Wondering if anyone here had recent naturalization interview in San Antonio office? A lot of people say they do same day ceremonies! Was it the case for anyone? My interview is 8am on Halloween morning
  4. I've had this happen but it was one airline (Delta) and they change the name with no issues. Have you tried contacting the other airline? Maybe they'd be able to help.
  5. My question was to find out wether anyone had an actual experience with citizenship interview with passport only. My spouse is citizen by birth and travel passport shows that (country of birth). Every other step did say in instructions that passport was acceptable, and we had K1, conditional residence, permanent residence AND initial citizen online application all accepted with his passport. On the interview instructions though, it says birth certificate. So I wonder if I’d get denied or RFE’d if showed up at the interview without birth certificate but the passport based on real life experience
  6. Wasn’t an option. They said in California it’s all about the records office and how fast they move. Can be 2 days and can be 60
  7. I've just gotten it ordered but it takes up to 60 days which might not cut it for the interview....US travel passport does have place of birth listed which is why it was allowed as proof on every stage if the process before this. Thank you though!
  8. My mom is about to go to Poland from Ukraine and cross back. You can take a bus or a train from Poland, and I believe you won't need anything beyond travel passport and perhaps a reason for your travel plus return tickets. This should have an up-to-date info: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/international-travel/International-Travel-Country-Information-Pages/Ukraine.html
  9. Hi everyone! It's been a whiiiile since I posted here - I finally have a date for my interview for citizenship (in 45 days). We don't have a birth certificate of my spouse (US citizen by birth), been lost somewhere at his parents house. And we've always been able to submit his travel passport instead (K1, conditional residency, removal and the original citizen application). Now, in my notice about the interview, it only mentions his birth certificate that's a good proof of his citizenship. Has anyone had experience using their US spouse passport at the interview? Thanks!
