Hello All,

My H1 got approved on May 25th 2017 with employer A. Due to some reasons I want's to transfer my H1 to employer B.

1) Is it possible to transfer the H1-B without running a single pay slip with employer A after H1 got approved.

2) Can we transfer the H1 without intimating to the Employer.

3) when H1 application got picked, I signed the document  In the document it stated that I need to work 18months under his pay role.

4) If we don't work for 18months, he can do anything with that signed documents? With that signed documents, employer can file a case against me if we transfer the H1 before 18months?

Thanks in advance,

If you signed a document then you need to stay with the employer.

Transfer of an H1-B can take 2-3 months. Basically, it is not a transfer but the new employer applies for an H1-B because H1-B allows you to work for one employer doing a particular type of job.

Whoever made you an offer has to do everything for you. But do not resign from your job. You don't want to end up with nothing.
