Change of Address- London DCF

Hi there,

We received our notice of approval on 26th July and were told that we will be notified of the next steps in 5-8 weeks. We are coming to the end of week 7 and still have not heard back. We are also moving out of our house this week as my current UK visa expires in October. I will be moving back to the US whilst my husband will wait for his visa. My question is, what is the best way to notify the USCIS of an address change? We are simply moving to his parents house, 5 miles from our current house.

Any help is appreciated.

The London website says:

"If your immigrant visa application is being processed by the Immigrant Visa Unit at the Embassy and you have changed your mailing address you may notify of your new address through our contact form. If your application is being processed by the National Visa Center, please notify them of any changes to your application as we do not have access to your immigrant visa file.

When completing the form, please include your case number (e.g. LND2013XXXXXX). Failure to do so will delay our response."

This is the form. https://uk.usembassy.gov/visas/visa-information-services/contact-us-immigrant-visas/u-s-embassy-london-visa-unit-contact-form/

Click the reason- Immigrant visa not covered on website...next to last tick box. That will open a dialog box where you can put the beneficary's new address. No need to put that you are moving back to US.

Thanks for your help. We have received our case number and have emailed using the above link to notify them of an address change. Can we still submit the DS-260 or should we wait until they confirm receipt of our email?
