CR-1 status still showing "Ready" after interview

Hi,

I had my interview in London about a week and a half ago on August 15th. I was told it was successful and they kept my passport and let me know it should take 5-10 days to process it.

I looked at my case on CEAC this morning and it is still showing as "Ready", but was last updated on August 22nd (a week after the interview).

I'm a little concerned as the ready status is showing that my case "is ready for your interview when scheduled at the U.S. Consular section. If you have already scheduled an appointment for an interview, please prepare your documents as directed in your appointment letter and appear at the consulate on the appointed date and time. Otherwise, please wait until you have been notified of your interview appointment."

I have already had the interview - and haven't been notified of anything further... Is this something to worry about?

Thanks!

For London the status does not change from Ready immediately after the interview. It usually changes after a few days to AP for a couple of hours to a day, then to Issued, then delivered two days later. Yours is slower than most. Typically the visa is issued and delivered in an average of seven days. Here's some London time data http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/550974-interview-date-to-visa-in-hand-how-long-2015-data/?p=8230228

Ok, well I guess the "ready" status isn't anything to worry about then, thanks!

Is the speed though? Or do you think it just happens to be slow?

If there was a real problem, it likely would have come out at the interview. That went well. If you happen to be non-British or Muslim, that can take longer to clear final security checks. If nothing changes by two weeks after interview, email and ask.

Just a quick update - status changed to "issued" today! Today is the 11th business day since my interview (due to the bank holiday Monday).

Hopefully the courier will be quick! Should I receive an email or phone call about that?

Email with courier tracking info. Will likely get that Thurs or Friday with delivery scheduled for next business day following the email.
