You've been so helpful @Lhanz0729! Thanks so much. I finished filling out my DS 260 form :) Next is setting up our interview date and medical.

Am I missing anything? I understand that no documents are going to NVC right?

You're not missing anything :)

Nope you dont need to send anything to NVC, you just have to bring all the documents on the interview.

For the interview we've prepared AOS and supporting documents, marriage cert, CEMAR which we will get on tuesday, proof of relationship, NBI clearance and other certificates from NSO. We also printed out of appointment confirmation and stuff we received from IV through e-mail.

We set our interview end of this month, when is yours?

Have you created an account online to set your appointment and delivery address for the visa?

We received our I-130 approval only 6 business days after we submitted it in Manila.

The next day we received a email of conformation from DoS.

Then about a week later we also received an actual letter of conformation.

We had 2 folders, one with original documents and one with copies.

They kept many of our supporting documents (copies) for the I-130 including pictures from our wedding and 14 others we had collected over the years.

I'm guessing your "AOS" is the I-864 for your interview?

Yeap AOS is the I-864 for our interview.

We did not get any confirmation through mail and it was pretty weird too that they didn't take any of our pictures when we filed the I-130...

G-325A needs to be completed by the petitioner and intending immigrant. So I would assume that you need one for your kids too since they are immigrating with you. It's not gonna hurt to prepare one :)

Hi question, is the g-325 necessary for the husband and my kids?

Yeap AOS is the I-864 for our interview.

We did not get any confirmation through mail and it was pretty weird too that they didn't take any of our pictures when we filed the I-130...

They took lots of docs and one that seemed to help was myself listed on my wife's PhilHealth policy.

They took all our pics and yeah I'm surprised by what you say they took, or didn't take from you.

First was the conformation email from USCIS 6 business days after I applied with the MNL case #, next day was an email from DoS with a conformation and a welcome letter, next was an actual letter from DHS / USCIS "Approval notice".

Thankfully I didn't wait for the "packet" and proceeded from my 1st email to finish my DS-260.

I was told when I submitted my I-130 it would be 30 to 90 days but have read where people say to call and check.

I figured after a month or so I would start calling. I was very surprised to have not 1 but 3 conformations with-in 2 weeks.

I also note that EACH on of them contains incorrect information on how to proceed DCF.

It would be SOOOO much easier if they provide correct information!!!
