I'm petitioning my mother she just got done with her medical, and she will have her interview on the 15th !!! She's from the Philippines and was wondering if she does pass the interview does she need to go to that seminar? I think it's called a pre departure orientation seminar.

If your mother lives in Manila or from a city close to Manila, she can attend the seminar at CFO in Quirino Ave once she gets her passport with US visa on it. It's a 2 hour class and after they she will get a certificate for attending and they attached a sticker at the back of the passport. She needs that in order to pass the immigration at the airport in Manila only not in the US.

My dad lives far from Manila, he'll be interviewed on the 9th. He will take the class after the interview and come back later once he gets his passport and visa, 2 days before he flies.
