After submitting her I-130, my mother tried to get her passport in the Philippines. They made her use her mother's family name instead of her father's family name, which is on the I-130. Now, her last name is different from what was on the I-130 I submitted. What should I do?

My was the same but dont worry when your case get to NVC you mom will have to fill everything with her name as it shows in her Passport.

On ds-260 the ask if u have used other names you answer yes and write the different names, it happened to me also and I had no problem it is so normal.
