Renewing EAD/AP

Hi there, I'm still waiting for my AOS to get approved. Talked to a lawyer and they say my case is pretty low priority, so the best thing is just to wait it out.

Will keep trying but in the meantime, I need to renew my EAD and AP combo.

Question:

1. Do I file the exact same way that I did when I first filed for my EAD and AP? I will of course add new documentation like photocopies of my current combo card and my notice of potential interview waiver letter, but is the process the same?

2. Do I need to pay the fee? I didn't last time because I applied with my AOS, but unsure if renewing is the same or not.

We just renewed as well. There is no fee for renewing it. You will have another biometrics appointment too.

We probably sent in too much, but we followed the guides and added copies of the paper that he received when his first EAD/AP Combo card arrived (with the three barcodes) and the letters showing he had applied for the AOS with the Potential Interview Waiver.
