My fiancée had her medical last week, and she stayed at Casa Bocobo Hotel, which is only one block or so from SLEC. She was very happy with the hotel. It's nothing fancy, but it's clean and has good security, plus it's inexpensive. Book it on Agoda.com for the best rate. Also, they have free breakfast.

I stayed in Casa Bocobo Hotel during my medical. It only cost me $94.84 for Twin Room, 2 single beds, 2 nights. The room is not fancy but clean. Their service and food were good. They have free breakfast.... and it is near (few steps) from SLEC.

One reason I booked Casa Bocobo Hotel for my fiancee is that the rooms have an in-room safe,so she could keep her passport, important papers, and valuables secure if she went out for dinner, or whatever.
