Applying for his new GC and requesting a letter will get your brother moving, He (your dad) is not out of status, I am surprised his workplace did not request his new one

to up-date their files so if/when they get an immigration audit they are in compliance, so tell dad it would bebefit him to ASAP to re-new his card those old long time GC has

expired they come in 10 yrs incriments now, Once they have verified at the GC is still in good standing your brother journey will continue....best of luck

Hi, I'm sorry this happened to you. I guess cdj was not having a good day on 2/8/13...my wife also got a blue slip that day. Anyways, can't you find another sponsor? Is that an option? It may take a long time for your dad to get a new card. My dad used to have the same type of gc, with no expiration date. When he applied for the new one, it had a 10 year expiration date, so he just naturalized.

Married 11/2011 in Mexico

I-130 PROCESS

May 9, 2012 - Sent I-130

May 17, 2012 - Received NOA1 in the mail

August 3, 2012 - NOA2 - APPROVAL
