same thing I ordered Trisha and mine though ecensus and we had it 6 weeks after the wedding. We had to wait the first three weeks for the Marriage Cert to be sent to NSO from the Civil Registar. Once they sent it then I asked for the cert from NSO. They in turn had to manually process it since it was a new marriage cert. That added 2 weeks. Then a week to get it delivered to Trisha.

Love forever,

Dale & Trisha

Go to your city's civil registrar office and request for an electronic forwarding of your marriage certificate to Manila for authentication so it will only take 4 to 6 weeks...I only paid P50 for it. Goodluck!

After you ask the Electronic Endorsement from Your local Registry bring the paper to NSO and the NSO will tell you to go back after 30 working days then YOU WILL HAVE YOUR AUNTHENTICATED MARRIAGE LICENSE...Thats it..Good Luck

Go to your LCR and asked for an endorsement letter, they will forward it to NSO. You will also be given a copy of the endorsement letter which you will bring with you to NSO. When I went to NSO, they asked me to come back after 2 weeks and I got my authenticated copy of the MC. Good Luck.

  • 4 weeks later...

I got a copy of my marriage certificate from NSO, it has an NSO stamp and it has some sort of yellow background and a barcode on the bottom left corner. Is this the "certified copy of marriage contract" that the CIS is looking for? Or is there something else I am supposed to request from NSO? I cant find anything like "certified copy of marriage contract" from NSO, just a COPY REQUEST. Is everyone using this same document?

THanks
