Met my wonderful John six years ago online. We dated for almost a year before he broke it off with the thought that I deserved better and we had a period of bad blood between us. Around 2013 we started talking again simply as friends, checking up on one another, video calling on skype sometimes. Come February 2015, while he was away at AIT for the Virginia National Guard, he asked for a second chance. I said yes and 7 months later in September he came, visited for a whole month and proposed on his own birthday (9th of September)! Came to find out we've wanted each other back for all those years, just that no one had the guts to ask the other.
