I went to Haiti on a mission trip in July 2013. My fiance was one of the men who helped translate, and provide transportation for my team. We began talking and when I returned to the U.S. we began talking more and after about a month we decided to start dating. I returned to Haiti to visit him for Christmas 2013 and went for 6 weeks in the summer in 2014. While in Haiti, August 2014, my fiance proposed and we have been working on our Visa journey since.
