I am posting this here because it pertains to traveling on a Thai Passport with GC and wanted to see if anyone has any experience.

LAX to Costa Rica with a few hour layover in El Salvador.

Thanks in advance.

My wife traveled from the US Virgin Islands to the British Virgin Islands and back on her Thai passport and GC with no issues.

The most important factor is what is required by the other nation. BVI allow the Thai Passport and GC with no additional visa, while other nations do. I am confident you already looked into this.
