Make sure affidavit of support of a real signature and not scanned and emailed. also any divorce papers have to be real copies, court certified. and getting the police certificate from sweden might take over 2 weeks so make sure you apply for it on time.

450 SEK for the x-Ray, 3300 SEK for the medical. If you need vaccinations they cost extra. For example MPR costs 1850 SEK, Boostrix 350 SEK. You can save a lot of money on the vaccinations if you can get hold of old vaccination papers by contacting kommunen or your old school.

Cheap and good hotels near the Consulate?
Scandic Ariadne is located about 3 km from the Embassy. You can take the buss from the hotel to the embassy. The buss doesn't stop right outside the embassy so you need to walk for maybe 5 minutes. The hotel is really nice and it's pretty new. Friendly helpful staff.
