Medical/travel insurance whilst waiting for wedding date + spouse's insurance

Hello everyone

Just wondering what is best to do. I'm flying out at some point within the next two weeks, but will not be getting married for 5 weeks (starting from my POE date). I don't think I can go on my fiance's medical insurance (which he has through work) until we are married. I know the likelihood of me getting very ill and needing medical treatment is slim, but part of me doesn't want to chance it.

Would regular traveler's insurance from the Post Office cover me until we're married?

Thanks.
