I think all Windows PC's have the capability...you have to go into your computer under control panel then click mouse/keyboard and look in there and then you can put the icon into your taskbar and switch between the keyboards just by clicking. Good luck!
EDIT: click control panel, clock, language, regions and then you will see the keyboard option!
But you have to remember the Turkish characters' placement on your current keyboard.Small sticky papers might help with that though...

Quick question: In between your interview and your oath, did your status change to reflect that you were recieving your oath letter? Did it say "Oath" or "Decision"? Or did it not change at all and you recieved your oath date anyways?
I am now a citizen and my online status says 'initial review'. It does not even show biometrics...

My brother got drafted into the army, conned them into sending him to medical school, still don't know how he managed that, served 30 years and retired recently as a Lt. Colonel at the ripe old age of 48. Did get married had three kids and was stationed all over the world, mostly in the nicer spots like Germany, Japan, and Spain. So not really a bad way to bear arms for your country. He is still all military working in VA hospital in Colorado. In constant contact with my three nieces now, that they are finally back in the states.
Certainly no shortage of both girls or boys applying for flight schools, regardless of the branch, they all have airplanes now.
Where I come from, military service is mandatory. Doing your part as a citizen is only commendable.
As long as it involves purely defending your country/people. Unfortunately in today's world the meaning of defense and offense has intermingled. Hence the hesitation on the part of people when it comes to draft...

It is better to spread it than putting the entire burden on a group of people who volunteered for several reasons.
In my opinion, being for draft is the definition of patriotism. If you are against draft you are unpatriotic.
Unlikely that we will see a draft any time soon. The military is exceeding it's recruitment numbers. My cousin was supposed to ship to boot camp on Dec. 9, but was told that his date was pushed back due to too many recruits.
Yeah, and it's very difficult to get into the Coast Guard or Air Force right now. They pick and choose.
Must be because of the perception that wars are going to be brought to an end by the new president. Lured by the so-called benefits of joining, especially in the midst of the most damaging economic collapse of the century, young people are being recruited. If Obama ends the wars, it will not be as dreadful job with death at the end of the tunnel. But the president chose to follow Bush's footsteps.I expect sudden and marked drop in recruitment figures, even in Coast Guard and Air Force...

My granddad was against the draft as he had 5 tiny children. He avoided being sent to kill Turks but then they drafted him and he was quickly killed in France.
Was he unpatriotic ?
Was he pro-war? If he were and he did not want to join the war effort then he was unpatriotic, otherwise no.

I am for draft. Let everyone feel the pain. Also there should be a war tax. War is not free. It is government spending, big government. I wonder how would the fiscally conservative people react to realities... Will they answer their country's call and join the military and pay the war tax as a true patriot should or?

Hi,
Since you already have a social security number you do not need to fill out a form.Apply for a new social security card. If there is a security person there ask him-her, s-he will give you the right ticket. I did the same last week but the lady at SS told me that their computer system can not communicate with Homeland Security's system nationwide so I needed to wait a few weeks for the status update letter to be sent. I hope this lack of communication does not delay the processing of ouur applications.

Probably they just got scared.I do not think it is because they respected service of a member of the army.
Governments only can use force with legitimacy, maybe they respected that.

He was lucky.
Somebody his age got shot at and killed last July on the street we are living.The killers most probably did not know the victim, they did not touch his belongings.They just randomly killed this UWM student.
Maybe everybody should carry army IDs to safeguard against mugging...But who knows that might attract some other muggers to crime...

I do not think you need to apply for replacement since you will not have any use for it once you get naturalized.Besides, it is not going to be replaced within such short notice.
What you must do is to go to a police station and report the incident and keep the copies of the report and present it during the interview.

All this talk about ridiculous and aggressive, I dare say dishonest speed laws and practices in various states just makes me glad I got a professional radar detector installed a couple years ago. Those on the dash/windshield ones are a joke, and cops will just take you for a lead foot if they see it stuck to the windshield.
I highly recommend this unit. Just to be aware of the speed traps and revenue collectors with guns. I don't speed by practice, as I love to get 30+ mpg in my Toyota. But I want to be aware of sneaky cops trying to give out $450 traffic tickets. Especially in AZ, they are very aggressive and sneaky. My condolences to the OP.
This is all you see in your car and can be placed in the most discreet areas, even under the dash. A speaker alerts you a half mile or more ahead of time when radar or laser is being used up the road.
The main receiver goes behind your grill. The laser diode detectors go up front and then attached about license plate frame. The laser diodes also "shift" the laser light bouncing off your car, kinda like a stealth plane bounces/absorbs radar waves. Very cool and trouble-free. Will pay for itself for sure as broke municipalities are under pressure to generate more revenue on the backs of everyday work commuters. Good luck and safe driving. Don't be a fish in a barrel.

my brother sent his N400 to PHX office 22 days ago,they have received it next day, and since then - nothing! Money order has not been cashed out and no NOA leter yet!
Now, they also received my N400 too 8 days ago and still nothing! I understend it takes some time but at least our check/money order should be cashed untill now, am i wrong? (After 22 / 8 days)
When i look processing times here almost everyone got at least their checks cashed out or NOA very quick!
I understand its still too early to panic but what are the our options if we dont get any info in next 1-2 weeks?
Calling 800 number i dont think is a option ,nobody answer there and if they do we will get probably generic answer - to wait!
Is going to INS good idea? do we need info pass for that? thanx
