update: i did the xray and had congenital anomaly scan after a week. baby is ok, everything is normal thank you Lord

Hi. i just had my medical last thursday aug 25. i registered online at slec website which requires mnl case number. good thing nvc replied to my inquiry before my medical sched. they asked for a letter from nvc that says abt ur mnl case number, good thing i have it. others said its ok to just have the mnl case number w/o any letter frm nvc but as for my case it was asked from me and i have it to show them.

i got my manila case number Aug20(manila time), my fiance called nvc. aside from calling everyday til they gave our manila case number we also emailed nvc everyday haha. aug22(manila time), nvc started replying to our bunch of emails LOL. i registered online at slec, registering online doesnt mean you make schedule of your medical. you can still go anytime you want. just that when you go there for your medical, theyll have you fill out the form with deatils about you and fiance, and contact in the us and address etc. so just to save time, register online. i went there 6am and i was number 9 to start the medical process since my data is already in their system, they just needed to get the requirements (pictures, photocopy of passport, etc.) then i paid to the cashier and started the medical process. i was finished by 10am.

i paid my visa fee aug 23 (manila time) and surprisingly i got to book my interview the next day.

Hello. Email USEM first, ask if they already got ur petitions...here's their email address IVMNLAppointments@state.gov...once they reply u can now schedule ur interview, try again to get schedule online. for me online scheduling didn't work so I called their customer support and they gave me my interview date in just 5mins....

Hi. we just got our manila case number last aug19 and the operator said they sent the case to ph that day too. i paid the visa fee yesterday. i tried to schedule the interview today and it says "No service fee can be found for the entered request number. Please validate your request number is correct and you have paid the correct amount for the visa you are applying." I use my passport as my receipt number as what the teller told me yesterday. does this mean my case is not yet in us embassy system? or my payment is not yet posted?pls advise. thank you

im on my 2nd trimester, 27 weeks. actually i had my xray last march i didnt know i was pregnant then. i didnt have shielding but babys ok.

Hi all! I had xray last march for our company's annual PE and result was haziness in both lower lobes and suggested for spot view. i talked to our company doctor and he just asked me how i was feeling. i told him i only have coughs occasionally but nothing serious and that time i cant even remember the last time i had a cough so he cleared me . My worry is if i do xray for my medical and shows the same result will this be for sputum test? does haziness on lower lobes lead to sputum test? thank you.

My OB gave me a waiver for xray. she told me its not safe, could lead to leukemia later on. that's why im so worried. but my fiance told me that his mom had xray when she was pregnant with him and his brother before when ultrasound wasnt there yet. so xray was like her ultrasound before.

thank you everyone for you kind reply. the thing is slec will ask me to write a letter saying that i will not hold them liable if anything happens to me and my baby. if they're sure its safe, they should be liable

anyone pregnant during their medical exam? did you have to take chest xray. i dont want to take the risk, my ob said its not safe she gave me a waiver but when i called slec, the girl said its safe and that i should take xray or i wont have my interview

hello everyone. i just want to asked if any of you ever experienced this? we had rfe june6. they received our reply june 27, as what it said on the case status in uscis website. "On June 27, 2011, we received your response to our request for evidence." Now it was changed to "On July 29, 2011, we received your response to our request for evidence." and we didnt receive an email for this which we did on June 27. My fiance called uscis thats why we knew about the new status, well status is the same but only with diff date. i think they mislead us, they changed the date so it will show that we are still within processing time. now im worried cz from the rfe letter said that our deadline for submission of the rfe was july 6, but now it says they received our response july 29. they might have reason to deny our petition

@PreciousOne: yung mga hotel receipts etc nmn kasi nung unang punta nya d2 naisama na sa original filing ng I-129f. ang meron lang ako d2 ay yun second visit nya. but il have to show this also for my interview for k1visa db? hndi ba nila kukunin yun? pra magamit ko ulit for applying crba. thanx. sis ano pla ginamit mo na lalagyan pra organize ng docs?

@marmana:i guess my fiance will not be able to process crba because birth cert will take one month. he will be here on my due date and can only stay up to 6 weeks because of work. ouch!!

anyone who have experience applying for Consular Report of Birth Abroad (CRBA)? i'm from the philippines. we filed fiance visa last feb 2011 but up until now we are still waiting for our noa2 approval. fiance visited me last march and im 5 months pregnant now. i dont think i'll be able to travel when k1visa arrives(or it will not ). fiance will come here on my due date and also to process his child's citizenship. how long will it take? im afraid if it will take longer, my k1visa will be expired (if il be getting one ) please can anyone tell me how will be the process and all? thank you soo much.

i'm 28 yrs old, a graduate of 2 degrees, working as software quality analyst, been to 4 asian countries. fiance is 33 yrs old, working as operations engineer at a top us company. he visited me twice. i got pregnant from last visit. i don't see any red flag. what's taking them sooo long to approve?

i thought we are the longest people waiting for our noa2. its been 4 weeks since rfe reply. i think expedite is for life threatening situation. we tried that too. seems like all we can do is wait. like you we are both professionals, he's an engineer, im a software qa, 5yrs gap in age, and im carrying his baby going 5 months now. we have a lawyer and i dont think shes any help to us. all she did is staple our papers, sent to uscis, and there we had rfe.i just hope uscis knows what they are doing.

im pregnant and we're on k1 visa. we filed feb 23. got rfe on june 6. today is 3 weeks and 3 days from rfe reply. God bless america. im feeling crushed thinking about the expenses will go thru if i deliver baby here. fiance has to come over, hospital bills, baby's citizenship, etc. i hope uscis realize what they are doing.

our rfe were: my passport pic and my letter of intent to marry. im the beneficiary.

and to think we hired a lawyer for our K1. I think it was a mistake hiring her. now i asked her how we missed this, she just said that rfe we got are not normal protocol. my passport pic and letter of intent were not included in the original filling and so we got rfe! i guess if we follow the guidelines here, we could have had noa2 instead of rfe.
