  1. HI!

I just got my NOA2 and loosing my mind out of happiness!

What do I have to do now? Call the NVC for what? I have all my documents for the interview ready, medical is done, what can I do now to safe time? Do I have to wait until the embassy sends me package 3 to send the forms I downloaded online?

And what are package 3 and 4? forms?

Any ideas how fast we get the interview dates in Frankfurt?

Plus, is the fee they are talking about the petition fee or is there an other fee for the visa?

    THANK YOU SO MIUCH!

  2. yeah. I am sorry too. I guess you are ranked higher so they might trust your word more? or we just got unlucky with the officer. anyways. the CO will provide us with a letter on Monday. then we will play the old game again. waiting.

I am not sure if they have been trough the application already and just want the letter to say OK or if they simply checked for the letter in the first place. but I am kinda disappointed. would it have been so hard to tell us about the expedite earlier? or tell us about the CO letter earlier? or to tell us earlier that we could have done all these in Japan via the embassy before we moved back to our home counties? I mean, what is going on at VSC?!

    I just want to understand...

  3. "myovemyheart",

Thanks. :) Have you hear anything yet from your expedite? Remeber, in my case it took 19 days from the time I requested the expedite until the day I received the expedite approval letter. It was a nail biter, but the next day, I also received my NOA2 notification. It was fast and well worth it. I hope it works out for you too. I wish you good luck. I'll be checking the forum for your update.

yeah. one update. they've sent a letter last week saying they need the letter from the commander. before they told us it might be alright without. well, u know, that's how they are. so we start the waiting game again after they got the letter.

  4. :D. That picture and the candle comments is funny. :)

You are welcome. I am glad I could help someone. I still have not hear anything regarding my expedite. I am starting to think that means bad news. I wish you the best of luck with yours. I am not sure if you can talk to a supervisor.

please let me know when u get ur noa2. first I wasn't so happy about my fiance being in the military(I was so scared that he has to go to Afghanistan at some point!), but so far the Air Force was only from big help for us. In every single possible way. where is ur finace at? army, marines, navy or air force?

    I pray for your noa2...

  5. You are welcome. Here is the military help line: 1-877-247-4645. Good luck!

my fiance called them and started the process. they said they gonna let us know within the next 5 days. wow...I am so nervous checking my mails now. I don't want to get my hope to high tho, what if they deny us the expedite?

if they do, can we try to talk to a supervisor or something?

it would be more than needed to get noa2 soon. otherwise I have no idea how we can settle everything before my fiance deploys in dec.

again. thank you for your post. if we get noa2 soon, I will hang up ur picture and light up a candle for u every day for the rest of my life!

  6. really?!

this seems like a joke! first they didn't tell us that we could have gotten married in Japan and file directly through the embassy(that's way faster!), and now they tell us ###### on the help line...

what a bunch of jokers down there at VSC!

THANK YOU SO MUCH! I will talk to my fiance as soon as possible to start things moving!

again, thank you so much! first time after weeks that I got hope again. according to IGORs list, right now VSC has a standstill. the expedite would be a blessing!

  7. my fiance is in the air force and has to go to the Emirates this dec.

is there any chance we can make use of the expedite as well? I got my noa1 on nov.22 2010.

the USCIS helpline told us no hurry, cuz we will be approved by dec. on the other hand, USCIS told us many ####### before. we used to live in Japan and could have gotten married there and filled the directly through the embassy.

but of course, no one told us...

  8. Hey guys,

I am so happy to have found a forum like this. cuz I know, people here will understand me.

for the last couple of weeks I got really crazy about Igor's list. I checked it several times a day. but now, seeing VSC at its best again, I think I have to take a break.

This is just so dissaponting. I mean, ever morning I chek this damn list. Hoping, praying. After so many disappointing days u start to think "well, it can't be helped. If this is how it goes...".

But then, VSC has some really good days and u think " wait a minute, this looks good! maybe it won't take that long after all"

You get all excited, hope is coming back, and then.. BANG! A punsh right into ur face! Only 5,4 or 3 approved! and the great final... NONE or just ONE!

I am frustrated and sad. I miss my fiance so much. I hate that I am at the mercy of incompetence! :help:

This is not the first time I got a visa. Due to my job I have been here and there in the past. And I have NEVER been confronted with something like this before! Never! Not even in Japan (which is famous for it's strict rules on visa).

All these coasts, this inconvenience, separation, unfriendly service which gives u WRONG information! :wow:

I know it's not the VSC's officers fault. They just do their job. And I don't think it is an easy one. Having people calling all day long and complain. But they also have to understand that we are frustrated.

What do u guys do to cheer up? :(

  9. wow. thats really sad! I am so sorry ... :(

I can only agree with the others. go back to the U.S.

get urself a lawyer and then sue every single penny he owns u out of him.

go on with ur life! there r many nice men out there! I am sure u ill find one.

see it from the good point. u found out what an idiot he is before u got kids. he and his ex truly deserve each other. u deserve better! (F)

  10. as for ur questions. I don't think it matters for how long u know someone or for what reasons. my mum had a match maker business for over 30 years. I could tell u the craziest stories. couples that got married after a 10 years relationship and got divorced the same year. others got married after 2 dates and r doing great for decades. the heart has its own way. u will know it when u meet THE ONE. others don't need THE ONE and are doing fine with love that grows over the years.

for my fiance and me, its was clear from the first day we met. we are simply fitting in every single way. we can go hiking together, play x-box for days without leaving the house, get drunk and sing all night karaoke or simply read books next to each other.

I am excited about moving to the U.S, but I also know that we won't stay there forever. we are planing to live in Europe at some point, but as long as my fiance is still in the military, we don't have a choice.

But as I said, I am so excited! the only thing Im am a little bit worried about is the crime stuff that's going on in the U.S. Once I told my sweetheart what I am going to do the first week when I get to the US and while he is at work. I will get on a bus and check out the area and cities near us. That's what I always did when I visited other countries.

His answer was: "Hun, there is NO WAY I will let u get on a bus all by urself. Even the U.S. is not as bad as the movies try to make it look like, this is not Germany or Japan..."

He also showed me this site which shows u criminals in ur neighborhood. http://www.familywatchdog.us/

    This is kinda INSANE! :o

but well, I guess it's one of these things u shouldn't think about too much...
