Still no NVC case number, I was supposedly shipped on the 16th.
It took about 6 business days after shipping before I got a NVC number.
-
No approval, still waiting
Did you email anyone at TSC?
-
Unbelievable!!
TSC is still having personnel incompetence issues it seems.
that's a massive understatement.
-
10264 approvals and 4137 RFE/ intent to deny? You have to be kidding me, that is almost HALF the number of approvals. Something is really fishy here.
I am convinced that many RFEs simply mean they lost your evidence and need another copy.

one thing I just realized...I sent the complaint form to USCIS Ombudsman office about three weeks ago and never heard back from them, not even a letter saying that they had received it. They are supposed to be the top dogs of USCIS correct? What a dirty shame, just truly unbelievable. Why is it that even our LEGAL immigration system is broken?
The Ombudsman concept is a joke. They are seen as sort of a court jester by management.

On February 15, 2011, we shipped this approved or re-affirmed case to the Department of State for visa processing. For more information, please contact them directly.
For approved applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include USCIS sending notification of the approved application/petition to the National Visa Center or the Department of State. For denied applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include the processing of an appeal and/or motions to reopen or reconsider and revocations.
THANK YOU ANGELA or DAVID BADGER!!
Wow...wonderful news!!!

Some of you might recognize the name Art Bell, a former well-known over-night radio talk show host. He also struggled with the USCIS process, as explained here: (I think everything is resolved now).

I agree with everyone's comments on this board. But come on guys and gals - if we keep bombarding TSC/CSC with all those emails they'll never get their work done. Cut them some slack and give them the benefit of a doubt. I am almost in my 6th month waiting and it is not fun at all. It is hell! My last touch was on 11/30/2010 when they messed up our case with this strange Post Decision Activity thing. But I am not calling, sending emails to them. Let them work now! They've already admitted to their internal problem and, furthermore, gave all of us a firm date of March 1, 2011 that all I-130s are supposed to be resolved. To me that's something! They gave a firm date commitment, not a 6 or 9 to 12 months wording. Again, let's just be patient. I am not but have to be! Stay and remain strong.
good sentiments, but they will perhaps evolve into something different when you are in your 8th month with no approval or activity. Thanks for the post.

Thanks!
You know, we are all in this together, and it really seems to be the luck of the draw. It's almost like a lottery. What can any of us do, I mean really? This is almost barbaric the way we have all been treated. Prisoners don't have to endure the psychological torture that we have ALL had to put up with.
On Nov 26th, we sent medical documents to TSC, and were approved for expedite. We have a ton of evidence ready to go to the NVC as soon as we get our case number, I am almost sure they will ship us straight through to London....but what can we do? We're approved, we were promised shipment to NVC last Wednesday,or Friday at the very latest if the weather got bad. Three emails, and three phone calls later, and we have heard nothing. The only thing they HAVE confirmed, is that our case is still in Texas.
What more can we do?
It's a living nightmare for all of us, and approval is only the first step. Good luck to the ones that managed to escape - I suppose we'll all get out eventually, but until we do, we have to carry on and keep the faith.
We appreciate your support. Thanks
The strong impression we are all getting is that we are dealing with, at best, a disorganized, almost unaccountable process and culture. For example, my US Representative's Aid called the Congressional Liason at the TSC over 3 weeks ago. The Liason "looked up" my case and said that it was (1) already with an inspector, (2) was being adjudicated, and (3) to expect a response in 2 weeks.
Well, none of that was true.
My petition was actually at the bottom of a box full of petitions that had never been looked at since arriving at the TSC. It appears that well placed communication (right person, right time) is making a difference. Thank God I am out of there - I will be praying for the same for all of you.

I called the NVC today and was told that it will take 6 to 8 weeks for me to get any kind of initial response from them. Anyone have any NVC experience they can share at this point? Amazing how this entire process might take more than a year to complete!
-
-
is there any sort of order in USCIS? People get approved and are sent over to NVC within a few days, while people like ValandGary have been waiting over two weeks? I just dont get it.
Are they sure it has not been sent already? Everyone in this situation should call the NVC to find out.

Hey guys I got this email!
On February 14, 2011, we shipped this approved or re-affirmed case to the Department of State for visa processing. For more information, please contact them directly.
This with an Angela Barrow's email...it's been a good Valentine's day.
It's Monday night and I'm off to work. I used to run to the break room constantly on Monday nights. Now I can focus on my job. LOL. I'll be back around 11pm Westcoast and hope to be reading pages of approvals/NVC alerts!
congratulations.
-
Why is she not replying to me, she said she will get back to me on Friday
Send another polite email...
-
No problem. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. I'll answer to the best of my knowledge
I sent a lot of documents with the original I-130 (divorce records, birth certificates, police records, passport bio page, etc...). Will I need to send duplicate copies for the NVC process?
-
Very nice! Did you receive the email today?
No, I received it on the 11th.
-
Awesome, congratulations! How do you know when it was sent to NVC? Did you get a notice?

My wife and I finally got our petition approved on February 10th, and it was sent to the NVC on February 11th.
-
I just looked on the USCIS website, and I haven't found any announcement as such. Perhaps I'm not looking thoroughly enough.
Anyone else have any luck verifying this?

I will be very surprised if the national media does not pick up on this now.
