Hey girl! re: police clearance in Klerksdorp...do they for CERTAIN get him his police clearance in 4-days? We found another route, but that still takes 12 business days.

Keep on NVC...I called them at least twice per week after we got our NOA2. NVC received it about 8 working days after NOA2. So not bad!

I called last week and they gave me the case # then I called this week to see if it shipped to SA and they shipped it literally the next day after they received it

Just checking in on you guys! NVC just shipped our packet to Johannesburg Consulate as of 28 April via DHL! I hope things are moving as quickly for your guys! :)

Hey guys, I just wanted to check in and see how your progress has been thus far? I hope as fast as ours...I think we're on the downslope now- FINALLY! NVC shipped our packet to Johannesburg via DHL on 28 April...I imagine that they'd have it already or in a few days! Now just hoping the rest of the process goes as quickly.

NVC received 27 April 8 business days from receiving NOA2!

That would be SWEET (re: speed up of police cert). Shane's leaving here in next 2-3 weeks for Joburg. We're tryng to time his departure from here just right so he doesn't have to be in SA for long. We REALLY hope for him to be here by mid-end of June (hopeful I know). He has job offers, we need to get him back here and married ASAP so he can take one of these jobs.

Aww that's sweet! We're working on Shanes now...we just NOW realize how long it takes! Grrr...

Thank you for your message. We are on day 172 and counting...Grrr. Once you got your NOA2, how long did it take to do your medical and get your interview dats? I'm sending Shane everything he needs (finance, pictures, updated intent to marry letter, pciture of OUR baby (his birth certificate), etc, etc...is there anything else from the SA consulate you think we should include?

Hey Will and Elizabeth! Yes, I (Jamie) am the USC. Shane is from Joburg. And thank your for lovely compliment. We were 5months on 15 March. We were told to wait utnil the end of March since "technically we're still in month 5." grrrr, I feel like this is going to drag on forever. We should know ANY day now though. So I guess it will be us keeping you guys updated! :-)

We would love to hear how things go for your guys in SA (Medical/Interview)..do you have any ideas on how quickly things progress on the SA side? We're at 5 months and a week now...waiting patiently!
