Interview was yesterday. We were APPROVED!!! Soooo happy now that all the stress is gone for now.

It's been a few months since we got our NOA2. Amy is supposed to be going to get her medical done on Monday, but not sure if that will happen since she's currently in labor and giving birth to our daughter now. We'll see. Other than that, everything else is going as planned.

I'm not sure where she went. She lives in Paranaque, so she might have been there. Her OB is in Alabang. Baby is on the way as we speak.

The only thing I did to get such a short processing time was to make sure that everything was included in the initial packet - just enough information for them to approve but not so much that I give them any rope to hang myself with. Follow the guides to the letter. The short processing time was also because our case was at CSC.

Shirley,
Could either you or Randy remove your timeline data, please? It's causing a double entry on Igor's list and possibly messing with adjudication estimates.

I hope so, too. I take it you found VJ after you had already retained your attorney? I had consulted with one before I found VJ, but decided to go it alone since VJ has such a wealth of information; complete with examples. I figure I'll save a couple of thousand bucks.

Just a few days over a month into this process. It doesn't really seem like that long, yet it seems like an eternity. Hows' that for a complete contradiction in terms? lol

I'm sure the USCIS can do a security check and background check in a matter of 30 minutes or less. So what are they doing during the other 7 months and 29 days?
Shuffling papers on their desk? Calculating the probablility of the relationships that are in their hands falling apart, so that they can feel better about their depressing lives?

Hi, Tim. I enjoyed reading your experiences with USEM. I'm sure they'll come in handy with Amy and I. One difference between your situation and mine is that I'm planning on trying to be there for her interview. Also, any chance you could fill in your timeline on here? Doing so would help others get a better sense of when to expect certain actions to happen with their cases.

We're in the document collection stage for putting the I-129F package together. As of last night, I've secured a permanent residence for Amy and I.
