  1. Hi :D

My boyfriend is coming to see me Monday. He has a two stop flight from Springfield - Chicago - London (Heathrow) - Munich.

I was wondering where he will have to go through security check? In London or Munich?

When I first went to visit him I had an one stop flight and I had to go through security check in Atlanta, when I first stepped on the US land, no check in Springfield.

What about his case? I don't know about two stop flights.

    Someone help.

  2. Hi.

I'm about to apply to a Community College where my USC boyfriend and his family live. Of course, having a chance of spending more time with him is not the only reason I'm applying to college, if it was we would just get married. Because I don't know what will happen in a couple of years and I cannot be without him, I decided to make my long time dream come true. I've always wanted to study abroad and now I have a chance I decided to go for it.

I'm going to major in Biology and have a chance of getting a scholarship, my parents will provide enough funds for tuition, books and living expenses. What worries me is that me having an USC boyfriend will ruin everything. I can't really hide it and I don't want to, I will be living with him and I don't want to get in trouble if we (in near future) decide to take another step forward.

I don't have a full time job, I work part time, because I'm still a student. I'm going for Associate of Sciences and after two years I'm transferring to an university. I don't know what's going to happen after two years or more, I'm not planning on staying there illegally (if I did, I would have done it already, because I've been there with him this summer for three months). But I know this is not enough for them. They need to see some ties, right? And I have none. Oh well, my family is here, but I don't have my own apartment or house, children or anything.

I'm a 19yr old girl who wants to go study Biology to the USA, 50% because I was not accepted to university here and I see this as another chance of obtaining a degree, and 50% because of my boyfriend. We have been together for 15 months now and it's hard being without him and I think going there on a student visa is better than committing to each other just for the sake of being together.

What do you think? Oh, and I'm from Slovenia, it's not really a fraudulent country, we're even is a visa waiver program with the US. It would be very nice if someone, that found him/herself in the same situation, could help me with this, tell me about his/her interview and possible ties I could provide (besides owning a house or having a husband or/and children here in my country).

    Thanks :)

  3. Yes, her mother can be a co-sponsor, there's nothing wrong with this.

In regards to the evidence, you will need much more than photos and chat logs. You will need passport stamps and boarding passes, maybe some hotel or restaurant receipts.

Tips..huh, be positive and hope for the best. :D haha, if you two love each other strong enough, nothing can keep you apart!

  4. Hi!

My boyfriend and I are currently trying to find a flight ticket for him

    I found two possible options:

    1) He comes earlier, but the flight has 2 stops (1st stop in Frankfurt and we would just come and pick him up there so he doesnt have to wait three hours to catch another flight to munich.)

The question is...can ge do that? Can he just not board or will that cause complications?

2)Well the other option is of course him coming later...but that would mean we'd have two days less to spend together. :( this flight is only 7$ cheaper...

I really don't know what to do. The main question is...can ge just not board? Will there be problems with his luggage going automatically to munich?

  5. Well I will be working for the whole year (so I might be able to obtain an employer's letter, which would be great. does it have to be notarized and everything?). I will also contact my high school teachers, I'll be fine I think :) But more information is welcome of course.

So after you got married, did you have to go back to Finland (and petition for a spouse visa or is the process different if you're already in the US on a student visa)?

  6. Hi! :)

So instead of flying into marriage (I am only nineteen and my boyfriend is about to turn twenty), I decided to apply to a college in the US. I have always wanted to study abroad and this is a perfect opportunity. I will be able to see him every day, because we will be going to the same college and I will be living with his family.

But I am kind of worried they won't grant me a visa, because I will be living with him (especially if I tell he is my boyfriend). I am not very well informed about this process, because I have read hardly anything about it, so if anyone has something to tell or share, please do it.

I am also worried, because the college I'm applying to isn't one of the best ones, will it be suspicious? I can't afford a good college and the one I'm applying to doesn't even require TOEFL tests or anything. All you have to do is take COMPASS and MUNOZ tests when you get there so they put you in the right class for English (if your English is not good enough you have to take like 21 credit hours of English class).

Thank you guys for help. What do you think I should do about the residence thing? Do you have to tell who you're living with or do you just have to tell the address and they won't ask further questions?

    ;3

  7. It is very weird how some people are lucky enough. It really depends so don't just think you won't have problems because some people did not.

June 28th was the day I landed in Atlanta and went through the customs for the very first time. I wasn't nervous at all, I answered all their questions, but they put me in custody anyways.

After an hour of waiting they started asking me questions about my trip, what we're going to do, how much money I have, what I do in my country and stuff. Then they told me not to work in the US and let me in the country. And it was my first time here, no visa stamps, I'm not in K-1 process or anything.

So just be careful, you really don't want to be sent back home, have enough proof and be prepared for anything. It really depends on the customs officer.

Anyways, good luck on your way of becoming a citizen! I wish you all the best. :D

  8. I am pretty sure that it would be better if you sent your fiance an original document with your original signature.

And about the photos, I've read that they can be printed as long as they are clear (date, location as well)

Good luck on your way of becoming a citizen :) Have an amazing life with your boy! :D

  9. Hi! :)

Me and my boyfriend and currently trying to find a cheap flight ticket for him.

He is from Springfield, MO, I'm from Slovenia, but we are willing to pick him up wherever (Germany, Hungary, Italy, Austria, Croatia)

If anyone knows where I could find the cheapest possible flight ticket, you are very welcome to comment in here.

Oh, and he could also fly from Kansas City, Joplin, St Louis.

Do you think we could find a cheaper flight ticket, if we just directly contacted different airlines or is it cheaper if we book it online?

    Thanks guys.
