Ah, now I understand. The steps leading to the wise old man rubbing the belly of a Raccoon at the top of the Chinese mountain has now been revealed.
Thanks NLR, just updated my profile.
I appreciate the info.

Hi NLR,Thanks for the reply. On my Certificate of Citizenship, I have a red 'A Number' at the top right hand corner of the certificate. Then below that in the upper left hand corner of the certificate, I have an 'Application Number'.You said: You don't know the file number so don't worry about it.I thought the file number is the red 'A Number' at the top right hand corner of the certificate? That is the number I put there. As for the 'Alien Registration Number' I still don't know where I am supposed to find that number. Anyone here have any idea?Like I said, they couldn't have made this a little less confusing and simpler, like maybe an 'A number' and a 'B number' or something? But oh yea, they're bureaucrats.notmuch88tosay

My Timeline still shows that I applied for a K-1 Fiancee Visa, even though I changed it to say that we are now applying for a CR-1 Visa.
Not sure if I can do anything to change that now. I am guessing that after I add that I have submitted the paperwork for the CR-1 Visa, then my Timeline will update itself. Not sure...notmuch88tosay

Hello,I'm filling out my G-325A form now and want to make sure I do it right so as not to create any more delays. My questions are below:1) At the top of form G-325A it asks for a 'File Number' (A number), I assume that is the number on my Certificate of Citizenship at the top that is in red, correct?2) At the bottom of form G-325A it asks for an 'Alien Registration Number' (A number)... which number is that and where do I find it?Any help is very much appreciated,notmuch88tosay

Great idea Darnell,
Once again my head must still be in the Chinese Duckling soup.
What is EMS by the way?

By the way, I want to thank those on this forum who answered my questions and gave me support.
I mainly owe a great deal of thanks to Ryan H and Darnell.
I don't think I would have been able to pull it off and get married during my last trip to China without your help.
I'll always appreciate it.
Thanks again,

Hi Darnell,
Thanks for the reply. Good to hear from you.
2 + 2 = 4 not 2.
No, I did not bring the forms to China for her to sign, because my plan was to print them on my computer.
But now that you mention the idea, yours was a much better idea than the one I had.
So I guess I'll have to fly back to China to have her sign the form. Just kidding. I'll have to Federal Express mail it to her with a Postage Paid self-addressed return envelope (my BAD).

Thanks for the reply and info, MmmBlondie,
I appreciate it.
Originally we filed for a K-1 Fiancee Visa, but then my wife (who was my Fiancee at the time) changed her mind and decided that she would rather become my wife before she became my Fiancee, so we got married and will go the CR-1 route instead of the K-1 route. So now she is my wife. But I might still refer to her as my Fiancee, just to confuse people on this forum.
Take care,

Hello,
I'm completing Form G-325A now (just back from China, got married) and I have a few questions.1) Do both me and my wife fill out a form G-325A? If not, which one of us is required to fill it out?2) Would my Chinese wife who has never been outside of China have an "A (Alien Registration Number)"? Or do I leave this area blank or put N/A, on the form G-325A?3) In the section below, what should I check off? This form is submitted in connection with an application for:* Naturalization* Status as Permanent Resident* Other (Specify):Any help would be greatly appreciated, I want to send in the forms needed as soon as possible.notmuch88tosay -
You misunderstand what I said my little fond feathered friend...
I meant after my and my fiancee are married, then I will visit every city... it was meant to lighten up your day, no truth in it whatsoever... unless you think I am a wealthy ire to the British throne.
So anyway... nevermind.

Hi Darnell,
Thanks so much my friend... now I got it.
Except for one thing, who is the gweilo? Is that Jackie Chan's nephew?
And how much will it cost me to bribe everyone in China anyway, or should I just focus on bribing all the people in each city I will be traveling to, to keep my budget more manageable, if it will not offend anyone in China?

Thanks Darnell,
As always, I appreciate your help.
One more thing I am not clear on...
So if my fiancee has multiple translations to do, how many bribes will she need to pay to speed it up so we have enough time while I am there?

Hi Darnell,
So when is it that me and my fiancee can be seen together by the bureaucrats in China, only when we register our marriage at the 'marriage registry office'?
Please let me know.
Thanks,
notmuch88tosay
-
Hi Darnell,
Okay, thanks. I will not show up at the office. Or I will show up at the office, but disguised as Jackie Chan, so as to blend in unnoticed...
So if I understand correctly...
* We will receive two red Marriage Books, one for me and one for her? * After we make a Birth Certificate from her Hukuo book, we get it translated (and I once again hide under a taxi two blocks away disguised as a Parrot)?* After that I can come out from hiding and resume to bribe the rest of the people in China to ensure that my stay is a pleasant one?
Please let me know if I got it right now, or if I need more staples and reminder notes.
Thanks Darnell,

Hi Darnell,
Okay, thanks. So one document that she bribes the bastards for is the ‘chinese marriage book’ (while I am hiding under a Chinese taxi two blocks away)...
And the other document(s) that she must bribe the bastards for is...?

Hi Darnell,
Pin it to my backside; my head has too much metal inside already. And one more staple could just very well overwhelm the system.
Okay so you mean the ‘chinese marriage book’; that is what I get translated into English and where I need to bribe the bastards?

Hi Darnell,
Thanks for the reply.
So the bribe you spoke of - that can speed up the Notary Public beaurocratic hell of stupidity - which document or Chinese book is that for?

Hello,
This question is for Darnell, if he is around and not out chasing Chinese Peking Ducks, Pigeons, Goose, Cows or other such Asian animals.
In an earlier post I asked you:
Any way to speed up the Notary Public beaurocratic hell of stupidity?
You said:
Sure ! Give yer lass 2000 rmb, and YOU NOT GO IN WITH HER.
Have her use the money to pay the special expedite fee (bribe) .
If they see you, they will want more monies and they will slow things down as well.
Make certain she not use a telephone and call you , speaking English, or that will put a 'go-slow' mode switch to the ON position, as well.
STAY AWAY!My question is:
How many times do we need to go to the Notary Public office? Is it just once to have my 'Affidavit of Marriageability' translated to Mandarin? Or is there another time we need to go there?
And is the expedite fee still 2000 rmb, you think?
I want to do everything possible to prevent delays, as I have been waiting for her for 3 years already
And I will only be in China for 30 days, to marry her. If it doesn't happen this time, I will have to wait another year before I can afford to go to China again

Hi Darnell,
Thanks for the links. I appreciate it.
I'm going to China November 1st, to marry my fiancee, so I am starting to get ready.

Good luck to you.
From a process standpoint, the more time you can spend together, the better your case when the time comes for review (to paraphrase Pushbrk, time spent together in person is the best evidence of a legitimate relationship).
Hi Ryan H,
Thanks for your reply and support. Thanks also for the info. I do appreciate it.
Take care,

nottoomuchtosay88 - I feel for ya, brother, I really do.. With some luck, she can make a decision quickly on 'what's next' .
Hi Darnell,
Thanks for your support. I appreciate it very much.
My latest trip to China really, helped, I think. The last week that I was there helped especially, I think. It was just me and her together and we got along really well, laughing alot (and had wild sex often also, of course).
Now that I am home, she seems to be opening up more and talks about being with me fairly often. She also apologized to me for what happened when I went there. So I think the next time I go to China, she will marry me at that time.
Of course I will try to get some cooperation and a commitment from her before I go to China again.
There are no guarantees in relationships or in life so all I can do is try and keep my fingers crossed.
Thanks again,

Hello,
Some of you might be wondering, "A healthy liver? What about the 'high transaminases' and so on?"
I have no idea. I'm just here for the ride on the Coocoo Train.
If one day someone can figure women out, they should be given all the gold in Britian, one of the islands in the Carribean and be crowned King of France as a token of our appreciation.
