    OK, she should expect a card. Any estimate on time line after the biometrics

    If my understanding is right, since she has done her biometric, she should get a new card or asked to come for an interview. She applied from Kentucky wondering how long would that take?

    I am not seeing a category for person renewing the green-card. She is eligible to apply for citizenship but she cant take the test in English, we are waiting for another 5 when she can be exempted

    No, she will be coming after June. I don't watch this forum very closely, are people getting harassed unnecessarily like i hear in the media?

    She applied in January, received her I-797, and completed biometrics on February 6. She’s considering traveling to India. Her current green card expires on June 16, 2026. Is it advisable for her to travel and return using the expired green card along with the I-797, or what would be the recommended next steps?
