  1. Thank you all for participating!!

Thanks again Jay-Kay! Sorry I was being very stupid andconfusing the medical exam (I-693) with the Biometrics. Yes I know about theEAP and the AP, is great that for ones we can save some money!

You are welcome. The CS should know what vaccines are required for AOS. They are listed on the CDC website. You can always mention the required ones if they try to give you others. You also only need one in a series, so if you need more than one shot for any of those spread out over time, you do not have to wait to send in your AOS paperwork until all the shots in the series are done. The CS should give you a copy and seal the I-693 in an envelope for you to include with your I-485 and other documents.

The cost for AOS is $1070, $985 filing fee + $85 biometric fee. Those are separate from whatever you have to pay for the I-693. Also, file for the EAD and AP at the same time. Their fees are waived when filing with a pending I-485: http://www.visajourn...content/k1k3aos

  2. Jay-Kay:

Thankyou so much for your help and for mentioning the necessary vaccines! Should I tellthe doctor that I do not need the other ones in the vaccination supplement? Isthat what you meant? I called the Dr andhe said he is willing to only do the vaccination supplement, so thank youagain!

PS: Sorry my question #2 didn’t make sense, so now when I send the AOS package I only need to send $985, right?

  3. Hello everyone! My 9 years long distance boyfriend (now Husband) and I finally got married a couple weeks ago (L) , I have a K-1 visa and I have been in USA for 56 days. Now I am assembling the I-485 package for AOS and I have a couple questions that I hope you can help me with :help: .

As the instructions of the I-485 for says “If you are a K-1 fiancé who had a medical examination within the past year as required for the nonimmigrant K-1 visa, you only need to submit a vaccination supplement, not the entire medical report”

BUUUT! When I had my medical examination, which I do not have any copy or receipt (I don’t know what @##$%& I was thinking :bonk: ) since is in a sealed package ,they never mention anything about getting additional vaccines or that my medical report wasn’t complete.

    QUESTIONS:

1)So what should I do? I have copies of my medical records (normal records not USCIS stuff), should I send those? OR should I make an appointment with a USCIS doctor in my area?

2)If I do so, would I have to pay (again) the $85 USD for the medical examination? Or do I pay the doctor or both?

3)Do you just call and make an appointment or is there any special process to make the appointment?

    THANK YOU!

    Ale :D
