  1. hi. My wife recently just took her medical exam, and thank goodness she passed. And we think we owe it all to sterilized milk! you see, my wife had TB when she was younger (she underwent treatment and is totally fine), and it left a small scar on her left lung. We were so worried that she would have to do a sputum because of the scar. Her mother told us that if you drink milk, it will hide the scar. so my wife drank milk 2 times a day for about a week before our medical exam. and to our amazement, there was no scar on the x-ray!!!! it was incredible!!! so if anyone has the medical exam coming up and are worried about this....... maybe a glass of milk will help you :pop:

  2. His actions leaves much to be desired --this is coming from a man  . I would confront him and if he does not ''man up'' --I would let him go . I know it will hurt now , but it will be better to be hurt now than later especially if you are in a foreign country with no friends and family . He does not deserve your faithfulness and love . Maybe he thinks that because he is supporting you --it gives him a license to do whatever he wants to do . Consider your options before making a decision .Good luck .

  4. There is no separate petition for children in a K1/K2 case. One petition with the children listed, then separate visa applications, medical exams and visa application fees. Fees are paid in advance of the interview IN the country where the interview will take place. Certainly, the OP has the option of having all the medicals and interviews together in Manila. On the original petition, which consulate was shown as the one where you would apply for a visa?

Q): "On the original petition, which consulate was shown as the one where you would apply for a visa? "

    A): Dubai.

Now that I have the NOA2, my fiance just received the hard copy last week. It is possible for me to change the address to Manila? how would I do that and how I need to contact?

    Thank you very much.

  5. Hello Guys,

Thanks for all the help. I need to make one small correction. It is only one kid 6 years old. I wrote my kids but it should have been *my kid*.

    Anyway back to the subject.

    My initial idea:

On my interview in Dubai when applying for my K1, I was planning to apply for my kid who is living in the Philippines with my parents.

Now that many of you told me that it is not possible to apply for his visa in Dubai, I was thinking in doing exactly what SunDrop posted. Go for my interview in Dubai,

if I get the visa, go to manila and apply for my kid visa.

Like how long it can take (Just a guesstimate.) once I get my visa for my kid to get his?

We will do in Manila: His medical, scheduling interview, etc.

Thank you very much. Like always you guys rock with all the good information.

  6. Hello,

I am wondering if mine will have less adjustment to do than the average. Why do I say this? well, she has been working aboard, in Dubai, for about four years.

She already tasted what is like to miss her family and friends.

She keeps telling me that maybe her adjustment might be a bit easier than those who leave their family for the first time.

Oh well, I just saw a lot of progress between us and I am loving it.

    Me again,

I am not as psychologist nor a therapist. So for now all I need to do is "give the benefit of the doubt." Yes, I love (L) her and I am looking forward for a bright future with her. If anything goes wrong, don't worry, no one will get blamed. That's for sure.

But it has been fun getting to know her!

    my 2 cents

    :whistle::whistle:
