  1. Please,

    I'd like to know...

after the I-130 is approved NVC will first send me(petioner) a letter asking for I864 or FIRST will send "choice of address/agent" to my husband(applicant)?Which one comes first?

And on the form "Choice of address/agent" when the applicant have to make a choice of address, is only acceptable US address(mine)

or is acceptable a foreing address(my husband in italy)?

Sorry for all thos question, but I'm kind of lost on what comes first right after I-130 is approved.

    Thank a lot

  2. They won't send stuff to a non- US address; can you have a friend or family member forward stuff?

Also keep in mind the I-864, if moving over means you need to quit your job.

Don't they send a choice of address for him?

He can choose his own address in Italy and their are gonna send all the paperwork there. Isn't how it works?

or choice of address are only for USA?

    Thank you

  3. On the form G235A (biografic information) than I sent along with I130 in behalf of my husband I think I made a mistake but no sure.

on the part to listed address from last 5 years

first line I listed my husband address in Italy as his present residence(which is), and the previous residence I listed my address here in USA as his previous residence from 2008 to 2010

my husband is a seaman and his port of call is here in florida(where I live). He comes here with CD1 visa and go on board for work for 3 to 4 months. And on his vacation time he comes here as tourist(VWP with 94) and then stay here with me for 3 weeks sometimes 4/5 and the maximum he satyed was 2 months(he never oversatyed). And we have been doing this for 2 years without problem.

The USCIS will think by that information than he oversatyed or they will send me a request to explain why he lived here and what bases?

They usualy check if the applicant has overstayed in the country?

P.S. I applyed for CR1 I'm in USA he is in Italy.

    Thanks a lot

  4. I'm planning go to Italy to be with my husband after I-130 is approved here in USA, and stay in Italy with him until his visa is approved.

What we have to do for NVC send all the letters, notices, packages, requests..etc to my husband address in Italy? This is possible?

I want to be there be with him but without delay the process, but for that we have to receive all the noticies there.

    Thank you very much

I am so sorry for your situation. I assume you are the USC?!?!? If you are, one thing you'll probably need is evidence that you have medical insurance for your husband if he intends to come to the US while still needing medical care

    Good luck

Thank you very much for your reply

    Yes, I'm USC

The company he works for is paying for his medical bill, he had this accident on his job.

  6. Please can someone inform how can I apply for expedit for may husband.

My husband had a accident almost 3 months ago, he burned his eyes and now his is blind on his right eye.

He came to Miami as "medical parole" had a surgery here and was seeing a doctor here, but when he went to renew his parole for the second time, the officer denied because he said my husband was good to see a doctor in Italy. He even didn't question my husband health condition, even took a look on all the paper the was sent by my husband'doctor. He just denied.

So now he is in Italy by himself and in needing of my help.

I found about the expedite here on VJ and I'd to know how to do that.

    P.S. I received NOA 1 on 01/07/2011

    Thank you very much!

  7. Hello,

I'm filling the Ds230 form for my husband who is living in Italy.

And I have doubts about the part to listed all previous visits to the USA.

The travels the my husband made as a crew member to the USA should I put on that part the says "from/to(date)"..... the day he arrived at the airport as "from(date)", and the day he imbark on the vessel as "to(date)"?

    OR

should be "from(date)" as the day he arrived at the airport and "to(date)" as the day he signed off from the vessel?

If someone can help me on this I really appreciate

    Thanks a lot!!!
