hey everyone i just have a quick question about documents being translated. My fiance is a certified translator. Can she translate the documents herself and get them notarized? or would this be against some rules since the translations would be for her?
thanks for any help

visa expired but green card not here yet.
in Adjustment of Status (Green Card) from K1 and K3 Family Based Visas
Posted
Hi, everyone.
Thanks for looking at my post.
I came over here on my husband's K1 Visa. the Visa has expired, but I have my SSN, work permit and I already took my finger prints, just waiting for my temporary green card to be issued to me.
The problem is I am working now, but the employer just told me she couldnt go through the E-verify system with the information I provide to proof that I am eligible to work. because the name on my work permit, people who made the card put my last name and given name in the opposite way showed on my passport. and she just called me, saying she is having her HR manager searching my work permit number, but she sounds like she thinks I am here illegal, because she said my Visa expired, I told her it is how the K1 Visa works, the Visa expires within three months, then you have to apply for the green card.
I wonder if there is any way I can make this work before I have my green card? Is there anyone here has encountered this situation?
Thank you,
Jessee
