Hi everyone, I have question about I-864. I am going to apply my parents come to the USA, I will be the main sponsor. I am married, I filed the joint tax return last year. So does it mean my wife also needs to file the I-864 as a joint sponsor or I just need my own? Thank you for your opinion!

Hi all, I recently got my U.S citizenship and going to petition my parents come to the U.S. My question is they got married 30 years ago, but they didn't have marriage certicate at that time(real situation in rural areas of China). They just got their marriage certificate 5 years ago. On my birth certificate, there are both name of my mother and father. So, can I just submit my parents' marriage certificate and my birth certificate or do I need other document to support this? Many thanks for help!

how about G-325A? Should these forms submit together with I-130?

Hi,everyone. My friend he is citizen, and he married with a Chinese in China. Now they are both living in China. The question is how can he apply for his wife come to the U.S? I heard that there is K-3 visa can help his wife to get visa. But how about CR1? Is it the I-130 application? They are not hurried to come to the U.S. Therefore, the only thing they need to do is to file the I-130, am I right? Anybody who knows it? Could you tell me how to apply step by step, thank you in advance!

Don't worry you will be ok. Did he gave you any letter and told you that you gonna receive a decision in mail.
No,she didn't give me a letter, only wrote something on my passport, said that I showed up and the case was pending.

I had the AOS interview today, and the officer told us the case is still in pending. But she took my I-94, I don't know why. How can I get another I-94 in case my green card is denied. And she took my photos, jont bank statement and some other evidence. I don't know what is going on. And how long should I get the result. Anyone has the same experisnce.

I am also living in Queens. My AOS has been lasting for 7 monthes, and still got nothing.Damn!!

My wife is citizen, and my green card application has exceeded six months, I had infopass once, they said to give them time. What should I do now? Do you have any suggestions? PS: I am in New York

Thank you Inky.I got married in 2009, my wife is a citizen. So i do think my green card application is family based.

Hi all, I filed my green card application in last November, and had my finger print in January, since then, I didn't get any notice from the uscis. Last week I went to the infopass, they told me to give them time. But it is already more than 5 months! what should I do now. Because I need the green card to complete my financial aid application.

Thank you all. The reason I need the green card is to apply for the TAP(tuition assistance program)as soon as possible. I am the international student, the tuition now is extremely expensive.

Hi everybody, I filed my I-485 in November 2010, and still got nothing. Can I use the infopass to expedite the process? Any suggestion will be appreciated!

I have the same situation. the first time it said the production date was on Feb 10th, and second time the production date was on Feb 15th. How it comes?
-
I just got my fingerprint today Feb 10, then I checked my case status after i got home, it says the card is in production on Feb.10. It is the same day! While i checked my status yesterday, it was still initial review. It is so amazing! Does anybody have such experience?

thanks, i hope it is EAD card but not another Bio letter.
I really got mad, today I received another biometric appointment letter for my I-765. Do they need separate fingerprint for each? Anyone who had the same experience?
-
thanks, i hope it is EAD card but not another Bio letter.

Thank you for your reply! But I did the finger print today, (the appointment letter only shows the I-485 receipt number, and I asked them about my case, they said nothing.

Hi,
I filled the I-485 on November 2, then after a month, I filled the I-765(EAD). On December 20, I received the appointment letter for biometric. But it is only for I-485. So my question is that if I only need to take the biometric for one time. Will they use my finger print for both I-485 and I-765? Thank you for your guys' help!
Can I postpone my parents' green card application?

Hello everyone,
thank you for posting valuable in formation and thanks in advance for paying attention to my question.
I am a naturalized citizen and recently submitted I-130 for my parents who areforeign citizens, to initiate application for green card, as well as all necessary fees which have been received and approved, and their cases are active at NVC now. The next step is to submit an actual Application for Immigrant Visa and Alien Registration (DS-230, Affidavit of Support, passport copies etc.), and the deadline is by the end of this year. But now, I would like to postpone their applications for some personal reasons. Anybody who knows how to do it? Any comments are welcome, thank you!
